Holguin Bodeguita del Medio guarantees offers for summer season

Holguin Bodeguita del Medio is the fourth franchise of its parent company in Havana. It belongs to Grupo Extrahotelero Palmares and was reopening on February 14 this year. Its varied gastronomic offers and traditional drinks are an attraction for this summer season.

Chef Reinaldo Labrada Marrero said that the mojito in characteristic drink of this facility. As for food, one can have pork and chicken-based dishes. As well as well tasajo, ropa vieja, frijoles dormidos and side dishes such as cassava. No doubt these are leading offers of Cuban Creole cuisine.

Holguin La Bodeguita del Medio also offers visitors live Cuban music in the restaurant. Another option is signing on the walls as a souvenir to visitors, meanwhile they serve traditional drinks at affordable prices in the bar.

Havana’s La Bodeguita del Medio, a bar-Restaurant emblem of Cuban identity that was founded in 1942, is specialized in Creole food and is known as the home of the mojito, – known as La Catedral del Mojito (The Cathedral of the Mojito).

It exhibits on its walls photos and signatures of hundreds of personalities that have made it famous among them: Ernest Heminway who immortalized the mojito as the traditional cocktail of the place. Presidents, head of states, Nobel Prize winners, sportspeople, writers, poets, painters… and other personalities have left their footprints outhere.

In La Bodeguita you will find the typical Creole food, seafood and beef in its different variants accompanied by live Cuban music. You can buy a wide range of souvenirs and the most attractive thing to do… you can leave your signature or message on the walls.
