Several books of poems by Holguin authors were presented during the space La Hora Tercia, as part of the program of activities of the 32nd edition of the International Book Fair in Holguin, a festival dedicated to extolling Cuban and universal literature.

Marrón Casanova, poet, journalist and writer from Holguin, in statements to ACN, expressed how the look, the passion for reading a book and even watching a movie can be from the perspective of poetry that depth that becomes a poem, a place where that literary genre and the human creature meet.

It is necessary to distinguish that Ediciones La Luz and Ediciones Holguín, two publishing houses of such a wide weight in the context of the Cuban book, add authors and give proof of how the fact of poetry and the poet are part of the national culture, that is a very beautiful act of fidelity, he stressed.

World  Poetry Day is celebrated every March 21 as an occasion to honor poets, revive oral traditions and promote the reading and writing of the genre.
