From this Thursday until next Sunday, Holguin people will be enjoying the humorous show Ecos del Aquelarre, a sort of compendium prepared by the Centro Promotor del Humor to celebrate the awards obtained in the popular meeting of Witches, where Holguin comedians won several prizes.
The Raúl Camayd Hall of the Comandante Eddy Suñol Theater will receive this Aquelarre, since they received the award for the best humorous show with Los artistas llegaron ya; the best sketch award for Las musas and the male performance award given to one of its members, actor Luis Ángel Batista.
For its part, duet Caricare, which won the award for best script with its show Bufonadas, promises to counteract the heat of this summer with refreshing laughter.
This Aquelarre will also count on the presence of Cuban actor Yury Rojas, who is part of the cast that will perform this weekend to laugh out loud at the Coliseo de la Cultura in Holguín, as a luxurious closing of the cultural program of the summer season.
Aquelarre is a humor festival that is held in Cuba to promote the best work by the country’s comedians, among them artists from Holguin who have made significant contributions to art through humor.
