La Luz publishing house has highlighted the work of radio stations in the province of Holguin, mainly those in the capital city, where they are producing spaces and contents directed to children and young people.
The fact is that thru local radio stations they have promoted adapted works that have been published by this publisher, which belongs to the Asociación Hermanos Saiz in the province of Holguín (AHS for its acronym in Spanish).
At the culture club meeting Abrirse las Constelaciones (Open the Constellations), which was held at the premises of the publishing house, Tamara Manso, advisor to Ronda Redonda program of Radio Holguín, commented on the experience of this space that groups in a thematic line three different spaces under the general direction of Vivian García.
Liset Prego, editor of “La Luz” linked to this project, emphasized on the uniqueness of these three spaces that “are united by thematic links by a similar aesthetic and coincide in the will to bring beauty closer to children through an aesthetic proposal that does not ignore their intelligence and does not speak in a sappy way…”.
During the event, the relationship between the radio stations Angulo and Holguín and the publishing house was acknowledged, in which they have devised spaces in their programming to promote the work of Espejo Collection, on literature for children and young people.
In addition to Ronda Redonda, a program from Radio Holguín, the adaptation of the novel for children “Garrancho, la película” (Garrancho, the movie) by journalist Rubén Rodríguez, which is broadcast on Radio Angulo, as well as other spaces for the dissemination of the audiobook collection “Quema Palabras”.

This project has the support of children’s actors and producers from CMKO, together with the Oral Narration Company “Palabras al Viento”, which has given voice to titles such as: Dice el Musgo que Brota and Retoños de Almendro, contributing to to the promotion of culture through the radio.
La Luz publishing house exhibits an outstanding work in the promotion of literature transmedializing its works even to the audiovisual, such as the adaptation of the book Retoños de Almendro by ANIMA animation studios of Holguin, which is a an animated series available on its YouTube channel; complying with the premise that in the light, it is better to read, hear and see!
