Canadian Blue Diamond chain to market hotels in Holguín

Under the name Mystique Saratoga, which also includes the Caballeriza and Esmeralda hotels, this brand belonging to the Canadian chain Blue Diamond will soon be marketed in the city of Holguin.

Yander Rodríguez Santana, general director of Hoteles E Holguín Saratoga, Esmeralda and Caballeriza, in exclusive statements to ACN, explained that the main objective is to create a boutique complex of high standard to provide a better experience to customers from the quality of service, offers, to the reception and ambience of the facilities, where customers feel treated like family.

Blue Diamond groups in its consortium the tour operator Sunwing and Wesjet as its own airline, in addition to its travel agencies, so it will guarantee a flow of visitors throughout the year to achieve a greater presence of tourism in the city and thus, boost the entire economy around the parks and promote cultural exchange, he said.

Part of Club Amigo Atlántico Guardalavaca hotel will also be added to the Mystic brand, specifically the first one built in the resort next to the bungalows of this complex, Rodríguez Santana announced.

Despite not being a novelty in the destination where other chains operate with this company, he said, we have the opportunity to be the pioneers in the province within Cubanacán group, because the Grand Memories Holguín Hotel for guests of all ages and the Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguín section, reserved exclusively for adults, both on the Ramón de Antilla peninsula, are operated by the Gaviota group.

As part of tourism development on Cuba’s northeastern coast, a hotel is expected to open in 2024 on Yuraguanal beach, with around 600 rooms, and another one in Ramón de Antilla, where there is a constructive potential that would consolidate Holguín as one of the country’s most important destinations.

In Cuba, the Canadian hotel company maintains a presence in Havana and Jibacoa and manages facilities in the main beaches such as Varadero, Cayo Largo del Sur, Cayo Santa María and Cayo Guillermo.

Blue Diamond, since its debut in the market in 2011, has experienced rapid growth to become the most dynamic and fastest expanding company in the Caribbean to offer a tourism product tailored to travelers of all ages, in destinations in Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Jamaica, as well as Costa Rica and the islands of St. Lucia, Antigua and Grenada.
