Audiovisual production courses are given to children and teenagers as an option during the current summer season in Gibara, Holguín province.

Inspired on the slogan “Make your audiovisual production”, the Project points at boosting skills, approach to the audiovisual world, and the care of environment in the younger generations.

During the meetings, children and teenagers will have to work on script writing, recording techniques and edition, but this time they have included the podcasts.

On week-ends, students will have to visit places like Armando Leyva Balaguer municipal Library, the museums in town, beach cleaning, excursions to caves and different sites of interest in the nicknamed Villa Blanca of Gibara.

The final exam is a podcast on the experiences lived along this summer course.

This summer offer also seeks having the families get closer to the audiovisual world, which calls the participants on sharing the works with the community.

This audiovisual production courses also allow students share with movie makers attending Gibara International Film Festival.

They will also have the opportunity of enjoying the films shown in this event, slated for the first to the fifth of upcoming August.

Voices of the Gibara Audiovisual is a group of creación made up of children and teenagers, which emerged as an initiative to boost love for the seventh art since early ages; besides, it is kind of a talent club in this town, seen as the most cinematographic in Cuba.

It is important to say that besides being part of the Cámara Chica project, it has been backed up and broadly acknowledged for the work done along ten years.
