ETECSA’s Holguin Territorial Division launched its Science and Technology Forum today. A space dedicated to promoting innovative solutions and the exchange of experiences among the company’s workforce.
The opening session was led by the Network Operations commission, where 17 projects related to this strategic area of telecommunications were presented.
The proposals stood out for their quality and for addressing alternatives aimed at optimizing technical processes. Operational efficiency, and the quality of services provided to the general public and the state sector.
Moreover the Innovation Forum will continue with the review of initiatives across other commissions. Reflecting ETECSA Holguin’s commitment to scientific-technical development and the search for solutions to current telecommunications challenges.
The division recently won the Quality and Competitiveness Award. Solidifying its status as a benchmark for comprehensive management in the country’s eastern region.
Its 2026 investment plan includes expanding photovoltaic energy capacity through solar panels. Modernizing the mobile network technology across various municipalities in Holguin.
Key achievements include the installation of base stations in record time, the expansion of 4G connectivity services. Also with the use of backup generators to ensure communications continuity amidst the energy crisis.
