The Holguin Cubs arrived at Estadio Latinoamericano for their second two-game series against the Industriales Lions. Leaders of the IV Elite League of Cuban Baseball. Aiming to prove the old adage: where there’s revenge, there’s no offense.
With their victory this Saturday (4-2), the team managed by young coach Lugdis Pineda achieved their third consecutive win against the Havana Lions. Who had swept them (4-0) when they visited Calixto García Park in the first round.
Pineda and his coaching staff surgically addressed the weaknesses their players displayed at home. And in these first three games, they have reaped the rewards.

Finally, the Las Tunas Lumberjacks defeated the Mayabeque Hurricanes (8-6) at home in Julio Antonio Mella Stadium. For the winners, Yosvani Alarcón stood out with his two home runs and three RBIs.
