Artists from Holguín are joining forces this summer to bring culture and art to the province’s remote and hard-to-reach communities.
With the will to give smiles and gladden hearts, they arrived this Thursday to communities in the municipalities of Moa, Sagua de Tánamo and Frank País, places where culture and art often do not reach with the frequency and intensity that their inhabitants would like.
Artemio Bárbaro Leyva Sánchez, general producer of culture, explained that the initiative was called by the Provincial Direction of Culture, the brigade reaches the most intricate communities of the province where the population has little access to go to the city.
“To materialize this talent, the brigade counts on the talent of the Provincial Center of Music and Performing Arts”, assured the also cultural promoter.
Artists from the circus company Fantasía Ilusiones of the Provincial Council of Performing Arts and the Provincial Center of Music converge in these municipalities.
It is in those areas where the artistic brigade from Holguín has decided to bring its art and give moments full of color, joy and hope to make the world a better place through art. The little ones at home were the ones who most enjoyed the activity in Los Mangos de Joselillo.
