Retail inflation in Cuba last November was 2.29 percent (%), lower equal to the same period last year, when it reached 4.11 %, informed Alejandro Gil Fernández, Cuba‘s deputy prime minister and head of Economy and Planning.

Through his account in X, he indicated that inflation is slowing down and attached to the publication graphs that attest to it, with values such as index, monthly, accumulated and interannual variation.

Retail inflation in November was 2.29%, well below the November 2022 mark of 4.11%. With this result, a retail inflation rate of 27.03% and a year-on-year rate (November 2023 to November 2023) of 31.78% will be accumulated in 2023 (January-November).

Gil Fernandez pointed out that in spite of this, the gap between prices, salaries, pensions and income in general from labor continues as one of the main unresolved problems and must be faced with more production, efficiency and control.
