It is organized -in research centers, companies, educational institutions, universities, among other organizations- with exhibitions and presentations of papers, products, technologies related to environmental protection and projects with significant impacts on the economic, social and environmental development of the territory.
The closing of the event will take place on November 30 at the Territorial Delegation of Citma with a workshop on the main experiences in the implementation of the Circular Economy strategy, with the participation of priority sectors of the territory.
The Circular Economy is a production and consumption model that involves reusing and recycling existing materials and products as many times as possible to create added value. Because of its high efficiency, resource savings, and benefits to the environment, its application is urgent.
In Holguín a plan of economic transformation towards this model is being applied, experiences that will be presented in Expoambiente 2023.
