The Holguin branch of the National Union of Health Workers holds the Second Provincial Conference during November 22 and 23 with the participation of 65 delegates from all the territory.
In this provincial conference especially dedicated to the memory of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, the voting for the 17 professionals who will represent the province in the Second National Conference, to be held on December 8 and 9, 2023, took place.
Dr. María Migdalia Paneque Mendoza, Deputy Director of Serious Attention at the Pediatric Hospital Octavio de la Concepción de la Pedraja, who was previously elected as direct delegate of the province, will also attend this event.
Under the slogan United and Committed to the health of our people, core issues for the health services are discussed, such as the functioning of the cadre policy, the quality of health services, the results of the Maternal and Child Care Program, the functioning of the Family Doctor and Nurse Program and the attention to the workers of the sector.
