His affable character immediately reminds me of the biblical scene: a Jesus surrounded by little ones who approach him as those seeking shelter. And the fact is that he offered that shelter from the moment he turned Cuba into an island where smiling and dreaming, true children’s rights.

For Cuban children, their day is celebrated every morning, when among the gifts is the awakening under a sky where the improvement of living conditions is watched over. The right to health, education, sports and culture are priorities for the government.

The children of Holguin celebrate the guarantee that the Revolution has given them. Once again, the whole nation is filled with joy. There are many reasons to celebrate this holiday in Cuba, where boys and girls seem to have a perpetual smile.
