Trump Threatens to Destroy Iranian Power Plants

Although President Donald Trump hinted that the United States is ending its war against Iran because it was “very close” to achieving its goal today. He threatened to destroy its power plants if it does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

The warning, which gave a 48-hour deadline, comes as Trump has appealed to international allies to escort ships through the waterway. Through which 20 percent of the world’s oil trade passes. And which has remained closed by Iran since the start of the US and Israeli airstrikes on February 28th.

“If Iran does not fully open, without threats, the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours from this moment. The United States of America will attack and destroy its various power plants. Also beginning with the largest one!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

” According to local media, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, one of Trump’s loyalists in Congress. He urged him to consider withdrawing US military bases from countries “that do not allow us to conduct flights from their territory.”

The president said on Friday that he believes the United States has “won” its war against Iran. So because, in his view, “we took out their navy, their air force, we took out their air defenses. We took out everything,” and “we are operating with total freedom.”

However, he admitted that Iran continues to control the Strait of Hormuz, and when he did not receive NATO support for his security plan there. He called the member countries of that military alliance “cowards.”

“They don’t want to help open the Strait of Hormuz. A simple military maneuver that is the sole reason for these high oil prices. Something so easy for them to do, and with so little risk. Cowards, and we will remember it!” he wrote on his website.

” Trump complained about the organization’s stance and, true to form, declared that “without the United States, NATO is a paper tiger!”

Iran, for its part, reaffirmed that the strait will remain closed, according to the new Supreme Leader, Mokhtaba Khamenei.

Since March 2nd, Iran has imposed navigation restrictions in the strait and warned that any vessel attempting to transit without prior coordination could be attacked. In response to the joint US-Israeli offensive that has so far resulted in more than 1,300 deaths. Mostly civilians, and thousands of displaced persons.

The Islamic Republic has struck multiple US targets in the Middle East in its defensive response.

Also this Saturday, an unidentified military source told the Tasnim news agency that Iran used a domestically developed air defense system. To neutralize a US F-35 stealth fighter jet. Forcing it to make an emergency landing.

“The attack against the F-35, which the United States had previously presented to the world as the pride of its military technology. It was carried out using Iran’s air defense system,” the source stated.

Moreover the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported on Thursday that it had successfully shot down a U.S. Air Force F-35 stealth fighter jet in Iran’s central airspace.
