Three boys from the province of Holguin will be part of Cuba’s baseball pre-selection team for the Pan American Championship, U-12 category. They will begin training in Sancti Spiritus on the 13th of this month.

The group of 40 young players who will train in Sancti Spiritus includes catcher Dervis David Almaguer Legra, Gabriel Hernández Pérez (first baseman and pitcher), and Anthony Omar Cruz Ayala (outfielder and pitcher).
Dervis and Gabriel are from the municipality of Holguin, and Anthony Omar is from Cueto. In recent months, all of them have been training with coaches Yanelson Rojas Neira and Jorge Manuel Ricardo Dorrego. Also who have worked tirelessly with the team in this age group.
