The Cuban Electric Union (UNE) confirmed today that efforts are underway to gradually restore the National Power System (SEN). Which suffered another outage on Sunday night.
These efforts follow another SEN shutdown at 10:43 p.m. on August 2nd, which was preceded by a partial system outage in western Cuba. Due to the tripping of the 220-kilovolt Matanzas-Cienfuegos and Matanzas-Santa Clara lines. Service was restored in the early hours of Sunday.
