A workshop on quality management systems, geared towards SMEs, cooperatives, and self-employed workers. It will be held from August 10th to 14th, 2026. Via the WhatsApp platform, as reported by the Economic Actors Channel on Telegram.
The official channel of the Ministry of Economy and Planning for disseminating information on regulations, measures, and trends affecting actors in the Cuban economy.
Moreover the training will cover business management tools based on international standards. With the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of these new economic actors.
During the week, participants will learn to design strategic, key, and support processes. As well as how to develop a Quality Manual in a simple and effective way.
The program includes reducing waste and rework by identifying value-added activities and creating indicators to measure business performance.
Instruction on low-cost internal audits and the application of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous improvement is also planned.
This methodology is based on the principle of “learning by doing,” with practical case studies. Interactive activities, and analysis of quotes from quality specialists.
