Cuba Celebrates National Rebellion Day

Cuba celebrated National Rebellion Day yesterday in the Plaza de la Revolución in Pinar del Rio. The ceremony, presided over by Cuban Head of State Miguel Díaz-Canel. Commemorated the 73rd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks. A feat that continues to guide the nation’s present and future.

This year, under the slogan “My Moncada is the Homeland.” The celebration takes place in the westernmost province of the island. It is especially significant as it marks the centennial of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

“The people of Pinar del Rio embraced with great enthusiasm and honor the honor of hosting the National Rebellion Day celebration. The Cuban president delivered a congratulatory message from Army General Raúl Castro Ruz to the people of Pinar del Rio.
