More than 900 registrations were received on the website www.fitcuba.net for the 2026 International Tourism Fair. Which begins this Thursday in its virtual format. Specialists from the commercial division of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) informed the Cuban News Agency.
Cuba, with more than 400 registered participants and exhibitors, is the nation with the most sign-ups. Followed by Colombia, Argentina, Germany, Canada, and Spain. Among tour operators from other countries who showed interest in the event. Dedicated, in its 44th edition, to Varadero, the main sun and beach tourist destination of the largest of the Antilles.
The tourism industry event, taking place on the 7th and 8th in this archipelago. It offers a comprehensive program of presentations from national and international hotel chains. Also based in this Caribbean nation as well as travel agencies. It will promote the country’s natural, heritage, cultural, historical, and culinary attractions.

Its extensive hotel infrastructure with numerous facilities located in prime coastal areas, and its wide range of non-hotel services.
FitCuba will hold its annual event for the general public on May 9th. Starting at 10:00 a.m., at Josone Park, a site known as the Green Jewel of Varadero. The event will feature promotions for the upcoming summer season. Proposals for the 2026/2027 season, live concerts, and recreational activities for children.
Despite the current situation, the Tourism Fair has taken advantage of the opportunities offered by information and communication technologies. Transforming into a virtual platform to reach everyone interested in experiencing Cuba as a destination.
