Holguin to Host New Edition of The Angel Visual Arts Salon

The Holguin Art Gallery announced the upcoming 27th edition of The Angel Municipal Visual Arts Salon.

This year, the competition features a jury composed of Onelio Escalona Vargas. Enrique Díaz Gelpi, and Julio César Araujo. Whose extensive experience was instrumental in selecting the winner of the 2026 The Angel Grand Prize.

 

Moreover the Visual Arts Salon will open on the morning of April 8th at the Holguin Gallery. And the works will be on display for one month.

At the same venue, on April 9th at 10:00 a.m.. A discussion will be held with guests such as Ángela Peña Obregón and Onelio Escalona Vargas.

The closing gala and awards ceremony is scheduled for April 10th at 7:00 p.m., right in front of The Angel sculpture.

Also The Angel Visual Arts Salon, which celebrates the creativity and talent of local artists. It has established itself as a cultural landmark in the community. Exhibiting innovative and moving works that reflect the diversity and richness of our culture.
