Regarding the emotions he felt upon achieving this goal, he expressed that “it is difficult to explain what I feel because it sums up in a little more than an hour of graduation, more than six years lived to the fullest, for being marked by the pandemic, by many complexities, including social ones of which I had no precedents.

“Today, seeing me with a degree in my hands, I believe it is the greatest professional satisfaction I can have, it will never be compared to any other achievement, seeing my parents get excited, having had the honor of reading and representing all the graduates in the words of the best graduate makes this a memorable day”.

As expressed by the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, “medicine is a science that is incessantly revolutionized, one of those that most requires perhaps being aware of everything that happens, one of those that most requires man’s capacity for analysis and observation, one of those that can least stand routine”, and precisely that is the challenge that lies ahead for the new professionals.

Years of sleeplessness and dedication are behind them, laughter and joy return after times of tensions and worries to assume the working life that is about to begin, the one that should lead them to be more prepared professionals, ready to face and save lives and to serve others.
