The Holguin branch of Empresa Extrahotelera Palmares SA, received from its counterpart of Santiago de Cuba the Proeza Laboral banner, as part of the tour that the parent company carries out with this recognition in the provinces of the country that have units of its entity.
The site chosen for the ceremony was the highest part of the city of Holguín, the hill Loma de la Cruz, where the branch in the province has a facility, a restaurant whose homonymous name stands out for the quality of the service and the offers it promotes.
A representation of Palmares workers in this northeastern territory gathered there, who to the beat of the conga of the folkloric company La Campana, climbed the emblematic site, to jointly wave this ensign awarded by the Cuban Workers’ Confederation in recognition of the work deployed by the company, whose meritorious results in its economic management and union work, resulted in the award of the Labor Prowess Flag.
Yurizander Sosa Rodríguez, director of Palmares in Holguín, spoke about the company’s work, of which she said that they are promoting offers that reach all market segments of the population.
“We are talking about creating offers in the most vulnerable places for the population, in addition to continuing to develop others to attract foreign currency for the company,” said Sosa.
Starting with the implementation of the campaign “Palmares por tu barrio” (Palmares for your neighborhood), the executive stressed, they systematically serve the assigned neighborhoods with attractive products at more affordable prices, always accompanied by some cultural event.
