The project “El milagro de la vida”, by Holguín filmmakers Melissa Sánchez del Valle and José Carlos Quevedo, won the animation pitching in the contest El Almacen de la Imagen held in Camagüey.
For being an instrument for education and training at an early age, the Prize was recently awarded in the city of Camagüey within the XXXIII edition of El Almacén de la Imagen event.
Melissa as director and José Carlos as producer, both from the production company El Nido, presented an animated short with the stop-motion technique.
Thanks to everyone who supported us and motivated us in this adventure. Thanks to the entire El Almacén de la Imagen team for their magnificent work in organizing and carrying out the Festival,” wrote the young FAMCA student from the province of Holguín, who also presented other materials: “Raúl” in the category of fiction, and “Evidence, ancestors” in the promotion category.
The official jury report, in this edition of the Almacén de la Imagen, after analyzing and debating the various animation projects presented to the pitching in the call, it was decided to select a proposal that stands out for being an instrument for education and training in early ages, creating a line of communication between children and adults.
