Children’s music will take center stage in the “Cuban City of Parks” next Saturday, October 10th. As Club Bariay opens its doors to host a concert by singer-songwriter Lidis Lamorú. An event designed for the enjoyment of the whole family.
The show holds special significance as it marks the celebration of the Holguin-born artist’s 33-year career. Dedicated to children and families, coinciding with the events honoring Cuban Culture Day.
Under the general artistic direction of Yoel Martí Montero, the show promises an evening full of color, energy, and audience interaction.
According to Maylén Alfonso García, a dance instructor and director of the “Pequeños Artistas” (Little Artists) project. Children from the group will play a starring role within the cast accompanying the singer-songwriter.
“It will be a show full of color, joy, and surprises for the whole family. Featuring special guests and a starring performance by the children from the project. Also who have become a regular part of the artistic cast accompanying Lidis in her performances,” confirmed Maylén Alfonso García.
The evening, scheduled for 6:00 PM at Club Bariay, will bring together a representative group of local artists on stage. Including the “TransNuBet” Local Development Project—sponsors of the event and the tribute series honoring the singer-songwriter. The “La Magia de los Sueños” (The Magic of Dreams) company, which will present interactive surprises for the entire family.
Additionally, the “Voces de Cristal” (Crystal Voices) children’s choir will be responsible for the exclusive premiere of songs from Lamorú’s new album. The program will also feature performances by the Art Instructor Brigades. Adriana Lorena representing the Arts Education sector, and professional soloist Lizyanis—known as “La voz del Ébano” (The Ebony Voice).
With the aim of welcoming the audience “with open arms and hearts,” tickets are available directly at the venue’s box office.
Families across Holguin are invited to celebrate children’s art and national culture. To enjoy a performance by one of the country’s most iconic figures in contemporary children’s music.
