The gradual implementation of the energy matrix change in Holguin has significantly improved service to the public. At the Municipal Labor Directorate, according to Manuel Franco, the director of the entity.
Among the main changes is the reorganization of service hours. Which has eliminated dependence on electricity availability to serve users. Currently, Wednesdays are dedicated to the submission of projects throughout the day to avoid long waits.
Likewise, the processing of new self-employment projects is carried out during the second week of each month. Also with extended hours, facilitating access for the public without the need to get up early or wait in long lines.
In the area of Social Security, Franco noted that the backlog in processing applications has been reduced. Applications are now received and processed in the order they are received. Increasing the municipality’s management capacity.
Coordination with the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT), which also relies on renewable energy. It has helped streamline processes related to tax documentation. As a result, projects are progressing more quickly and being delivered in shorter timeframes.
The official emphasized that these improvements reflect the commitment to providing more efficient service to the public. Reducing barriers to employment, despite existing energy limitations.
Furthermore the Holguin Municipal Labor Office continues to serve the public during its established hours. And invites citizens to visit its offices with any questions or for any information they may need.
