The VC Ivette winery in Holguin is promoting cooperative production with various companies in the region. Aiming to maintain quality standards and competitive pricing.
Ivett Valentina Pupo Pupo, owner of the brand, explained to the Cuban News Agency that the contracts include raw materials. Such as bottles, manufacturing materials, packaging resources, and machine operation, among other things.
Among the contracts, the one with the Raw Materials Company stands out. With the goal of acquiring bottles of various sizes to increase product availability. Given the characteristics of each wine, the winery also includes purchasing bottles from informal collectors and customers.
The owner explained the arrangements made with the Almacenes Universales branch in the municipality for the purchase of chlorine and dish soap. Essential supplies for sanitizing the containers, a process that guarantees the preservation of the wines’ quality.
Moreover the winemaker highlighted the production contract with the Turquino Vegetable Canning Company in the province. An agreement that ensures the supply of flavorless syrup used to sweeten the wines. As well as other agreements focused on the supply of basic inputs.
With 20 years of experience in the provincial wine market, VC Ivette offers a diverse range of wines. Including white, rosé, red, dry, semi-dry, sweet, semi-sweet, and sparkling wines. Sparkling wine is one of the most difficult to produce and is the brand’s flagship product.
This family project combines excellence and recognition in an initiative that arose from the anti-cancer benefits of grapes as a fruit. Its industrial growth facilitates sales within the region.
