The 60th Anniversary of the October Revolution Sugarcane Harvester Factory (KTP) in Holguin is strengthening its ties. With the local education sector to enhance student training and foster industrial development.
María de los Ángeles Mora Alméciga, a specialist at the factory, told the Cuban News Agency that the partnership. It includes training students in related fields, as well as research on production processes. That allows for the application of scientific methodology to topics that present challenges in mechanics.

Mora Alméciga commented that the collaboration includes an annex classroom at the Luis de Feria Garayalde Polytechnic Institute. Specializing in welding, and the hosting of business students from the José Martí Polytechnic Institute. Also who complete their practical training within the industry.
