As part of the celebrations for the 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution, was held at the ExpoHolguin Fairgrounds the political and cultural gala that recognizes each year personalities of different sectors of the province.
In the presence of Joel Queipo Ruiz, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba; Major General Eugenio Rabilero Aguilera, chief of the Eastern Army; Manuel Francisco Hernandez Aguilera, Governor of Holguín; in addition to other authorities of the territory, 67 workers were recognized as Personality of the Year 2024, coming from Public Health, Education, Sports, Services and other spheres.
Among the personalities were Salvador Hechavarría Garcell, director of programs of Telecristal Holguin territorial channel.
Also, Mailín Betancourt Verdecia, journalist for CMKO Radio Angulo; Jorge Fernández, journalist for the week ¡ahora! and Manuel Fernando Martínez Bruzón, psychopedagogue from the municipality of Báguanos.
The gala, under the general direction of Víctor Osorio and dedicated to the Cuban television, was featured by a top artistic representation, like soloists Gladis María and Ernesto Infante, the companies Codanza, Fantasía and Recrearte, as well as a cast starring the leading actresses of the Cuban soap opera Renacer: Ana Gloria Buduén Castellanos and Mirtha Lilia Pedro.
