Cuban government pays tribute to Hugo Chávez

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermudez evoked today through his X account, former Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez Frias, on the 11th anniversary of his physical departure.

“Our generation will always celebrate the opportunity we had to live the time of two giants of the Revolution and Latin American integration: Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez,” the Cuban leader said on the platform.

He qualified the Bolivarian Commander as “Cuba’s best friend”, and sent an emotional embrace to Venezuela.

In the same social network, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, recalled the 11th anniversary of the death of the undisputed leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“It is 11 years since the passing of the eternal Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, a sincere friend of Fidel and Cuba. An embrace to his beloved people of Venezuela on this day.”
