Palmares Holguín will boost investments in 2024

Holguin tourism is considered the third most important in Cuba, in that sense, the Palmares Branch will diversify its extra-hotel services in 2024 in order to conquer international tourism, said Yulisandre Sosa Rodriguez, its general director.

Among the investment plans are the total modernization of the Boulevard of Guardalavaca Beach, as well as the construction of a new photographic stop and a karaoke bar near the “El Ancla” Parador.

At the same time, we will work there on the creation of a multifunctional center that will have an amphitheater, bars, restaurants, leisure club and other options,” added Sosa Rodriguez.

Investments will also reach the municipality of Frank País, where there is great natural beauty. With this, Palmares will enter the ecotourism market, starting with a multifunctional product in the Bay of Cayo Mambí that will include, in its recreational and leisure proposal, a nautical service.

The executive added that “a canopy tour will also be installed in Yaguajay Hill, one of the areas that offers a beautiful natural viewpoint in the region”.

In another moment, she referred to the fulfillment of the strategies of the Ministry of Tourism to consolidate, next year, the Russian market.

In this respect, she said that more than 130 workers are fluent in the language, while attractive gastronomic offers have been inserted for that market and the possibility of payment by means of MIR cards.

In the provincial capital city, Palmares will focus on accompanying the city’s nightlife with gastronomic and cultural offers.

Likewise, the services in the last waiting room of the Frank País Airport in Holguín are also highlighted.

Sosa Rodríguez describes 2023 as an intense year for the Palmares Holguín Branch, however, they have over-fulfilled the economic plans, in a difficult national socioeconomic context.

“This is due to the fact that we have expanded our services: we have achieved specialization in cafés, we have grown with two high-standard bars with more than 30 cocktails, together with the comfort and elegance of the establishments,” he remarked.

In addition to this, the six restaurants, including the “Salón 1720” and the “Bodeguita del Medio”, whose staff and management strive to sustain the results and provincial and national recognition, have been categorized as excellent.
