President Miguel Díaz-Canel today presided over the swearing-in ceremony of 26 new ambassadors. Who will represent Cuba abroad with loyalty, dedication, and a profound sense of responsibility, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The Ministry stated that the diplomats are committed to serving their country and defending its principles in every arena.
It affirmed that the new heads of mission, inspired by the legacy of those who have shaped the foreign policy of the Revolution. It will carry Cuba’s voice with firmness, respect, and a commitment to dialogue. Strengthening the bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation with the peoples of the world.
The institution emphasized via social media that they will always defend sovereignty, the nation’s interests, and the principles of the Revolution.
In addition to the Cuban head of state, those attending the swearing-in ceremony included the president of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo. The prime minister, Manuel Marrero; and the secretary of organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Roberto Morales Ojeda.
