UHo Promotes International Doctoral Training with CRISSS Project

The University of Holguin (UHo) continues to strengthen its scientific and international standing with the development of the CRISSS project. An initiative aimed at building research and innovation capabilities. To accelerate national development through smart service solutions.

At an event held this Tuesday, the university announced the call for applications for a dual-degree Doctoral School. In coordination with the Flemish universities KU Leuven, Hasselt University, and the Free University of Brussels. This opportunity expands the possibilities for professional development for students and academics in the province and the country.

During the meeting, the selection process, the applicant profile requirements, and the research topics. Associated with the subprojects planned within the CRISSS framework were explained. This program is designed to strengthen doctoral training and the transfer of knowledge to strategic sectors in the region.
The initiative, funded by the Flemish Interuniversity Council, aims to contribute to the search for innovative solutions. Also to challenges related to energy, water supply, food sovereignty, and urban governance. Through the use of technological tools and advanced approaches.
