Pavón and the exhibition of Holguin’s city beauties

The exhibition “My city rejuvenates” of the Naif painter Salvador Pavón was inaugurated this Wednesday in the gallery of the Pernik Hotel in the city of Holguin.

The exhibition has a characteristic unique and original style, where the artist manages to capture the essence and the beauty of the Cuban City of the Parks, and captures in his works the love and admiration for his land.

The exhibition was curated by renowned art critic Danilo López Garcés and sponsored by the Cuban Fund for Cultural Goods (FCBC).

José Millet was in charge of the words of the exhibition, who emphasized: “They are works that deal with themes of great significance, such as those of everyday life and festive celebrations typical of Cubans. This painter, president of Fine Arts of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac), is considered the visual chronicler of Holguin, for capturing scenes, characters and events characteristic of city life”.

The exhibition immerses us in a visual journey through Holguin’s most emblematic landscapes, monuments and corners. With a palette of vibrant colors and an impeccable technique, Pavón manages to transmit the magic and charm that characterize this city and its most representative traditions.

Each painting in the exhibition is a small masterpiece, inviting the viewer to stop and admire the beauty hidden in every corner of Holguin.

The artist’s brushstrokes show us the city and its people with its streets and squares full of life, evoking the history and tradition that is breathed in every corner.

Through his paintings, the artist invites us to reflect on the challenges and contradictions of contemporary society, and shows a critical and profound look at the surrounding reality, without distancing us from that positive vision of the future that the artist leaves on his canvases with emphasis on the importance of preserving the identity and culture of our people.

“My city rejuvenates” is an emotional tribute to his land, a song of love to his roots and his people. Through his works he invites us to discover the artistic and cultural richness of Holguin, with a unique and personal look that moves us and inspires us to explore and value the beauty of the environment.

As a tribute to the city of Holguín and all its history and cultural heritage, Salvador Pavón’s exhibition is a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a world of colors, emotions and reflections that will leave no one indifferent.
