As part of the XVIII Musical Festival Arañando la Nostalgia (old songs), and the celebrations for Saint Valentine’s Day, a wonderful Romantic and Symphonic concert took place in the central Calixto Garcia Park in the city of Holguin this Tuesday night.
In the evening the Symphonic Orchestra of Holguin was accompanied by recognized special guests.

Songs by Armando Manzanero, Alejandro Sanz, Laura Paussini, Juan Gabriel and The Beatles were the stars of the evening, with musical, artistic and general direction by maestro Oreste Saavedra and artistic production by Mayda Escalona.

In addition to the Symphony Orchestra, the artistic gala featured several special guests, such as the vocal group Bella Voce, Mariachi Holguín, dancer and choreographer Vianki González, and soloists Delvis Lozano, Nadiel Mejías, Rafael Hernández, Liz Ponce de León and Camila Navarro.

The moment was propitious for the delivery of the Corazón de Oro (Golden Heart) recognition, on the part of the Directorate of Culture of the municipality of Holguin, to Alberto Fernandez del Toro and Ricardo Ronda Chacon, founders of the Arañando la Nostalgia Festival, who recalled the beginnings of the Festival.

The concert dedicated to love and friendship, which included boleros, ballads and even Mexican ranchera music, did not leave the audience indifferent, who accompanied the artists both in song and dance. / Melissa Laura del Cerro Figueredo
