Private companies contribute to local development in Holguín

Private enterprises, consolidated after their approval as new economic actors in Cuba, contribute to local development in Holguin province.

This is the case of CONSYBA in the municipality of Calixto Garcia, the third MSME approved in this eastern territory, which began with the objective of producing construction materials, but once its brand of ecomodular bricks was patented, it collaborates with other social programs.

Its director and owner Yoander Batista said that their goal is to provide solutions and in fact they leased a national transportation bus, expanding the possibilities of travel to Havana.

Batista added that they are currently seeking to patent the Muñeko ice cream brand, a production line of Italian origin.

CONSYBA intends to continue contributing to the local development of “Calixto García” municipality with new and ambitious projects and also to strengthen relations with suppliers and strengthen the productive chain with repercussion in the increase of services and goods for the people.

These businesses that seek to import technologies to favor local production and generate jobs should be encouraged for their contribution to boosting the Cuban economy.

Their linkage with the economic and social objectives of the municipality is fundamental within the governmental agenda of the province in 2024.
