Holguín Cupet (Unidad Empresarial de Base Comercializadora de Combustibles Holguín), with more than 84 thousand clients, boosts the electronic payment in the purchase of liquefied gas, one of the most demanded services included in the bankarization process.
In the eastern territory, in addition to offering extra cashier services at points of sale since December, Holguín Cupet has extended the possibility of obtaining a cylinder on the Enzona and Transfermóvil digital platforms, where options are promoted through QR codes and the virtual store.
Yoanna López Díaz, director of Holguín Cupet, explained to the ACN that this system has been implemented for three years now, and deliveries are made at the gas stores, with good acceptance by the population.
Strategies such as home delivery service, a facility for customers of the virtual store who wish to receive the cylinder at their homes, which will respond to one of the most frequent requests and will increase demands, she said.
Among the purchase options by Holguín Cupet, door-to-door delivery is also stands out for territories where there are still gas shops and, after coordination with local governments, the purchase by customers is established, including those who live on the road sections, added the official.
This entity also has a presence on social platforms such as Telegram and Facebook, where users can interact and learn about topics of interest related to the service, the directive said.
Holguín has 32 points of sale of liquefied gas and distribution is carried out in the municipalities of Moa, Antilla, Cueto, Banes, Urbano Noris and the provincial capital, with a distribution schedule that includes the reconciliation of more than three thousand bullets per day, coming from Santiago de Cuba.
The director explained that this quantity received allows to cover the demand, in a rotation of 26 days per contract, in accordance with the provisions established in the country.
