The 44th edition of the Havana International Film Festival already has its distinctive poster, after a call for young designers, to start today the graphic campaign of the important event.
Among the contestants, Alejandro Rodriguez Fornes ‘Alucho’ and Alicia Fundora Rangel won the event, working on the conception of the poster that will represent the upcoming December event, according to the organizers.
Each graphic support of the festival will be worked on the image and it constitutes the main visual mark of the event, they detailed.
The slogan makes up the phrase Green Light, which expresses forward, movement, possibility, and added one of the most used terms in film production: Action! The poster combines different graphic elements.
A large zenithal shot over a crosswalk sees a diversity of people passing by, performing different actions and crossing from one end of the street to the other’, explained the organizing committee, which thanks each of the designers for submitting their proposals to the call to conceive the poster and campaign for the event.
The film festival will take place in the Cuban capital from December 8 to 17, 2023.
Every year the Havana Film Festival’s organizing committee promotes an extensive graphic campaign made up of different promotional supports and this 44th edition was no exception, which prompted the call to select the distinctive poster with the event’s image.
