
The governor of Holguin province, Manuel Hernandez Aguilera, summoned all the actors of the economy to participate in the Commercial ExpoFair Holguin Sí (trade fair Holguin Sí), scheduled for August 26-27.
This Commercial ExpoFair aims at promoting and commercializing local productions from all the municipalities of this northeastern territory, boosting e-commerce and facilitating an approach of banking services to the population.
The Commercial ExpoFair just called includes a business round with the presence of all sectors of the economy for the identification of opportunities, exchange of experiences and strengthening of alliances between the actors of the business network in the province, in favor of territorial development.
During the month of April, national and foreign exhibitors attended another commercial appointment of Expo Holguin with appreciable promotional results.

Holguin is the third largest province in Cuba, with an extension that represents 8.6 % of the total surface of the archipelago, divided into 14 municipalities, in which a thousand 112 settlements are located, 43 of them towns.
Although this province was traditionally an agricultural region, it is currently one of Cuba’s main industrial zones. Called the land of nickel, its production contributes 20% of the country’s economic income from exports.
