Cuba’s Communist Party (PCC) and Venezuela’s United Socialist Party (PSUV) strengthened on Tuesday relations after the signing of collaboration deals that formalize links between both organizations.
The documents, signed by Roberto Morales Ojeda – PCC Secretary – and Diosdado Cabello – PSUV First Vice President – at El Laguito’s Protocol Hall in Havana, reveal the excellent existing bilateral ties between the two organizations.
The deals will facilitate the establishment and strengthening of friendship, cooperation, dialogue, communication, mutual learning and political trust between the PCC and PSUV.
The Secretary of Organization of the PCC thanked Cabello Rondón for the continuous solidarity of the Bolivarian Revolution with Cuba and its struggle for the cessation of coercive measures and sanctions against the Caribbean nation.
He acknowledged that the legacy of brotherhood of the historic leaders of both revolutionary processes, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, is felt in these spaces of dialogue.
It is also worth highlighting the importance of the topics to be discussed in order to enhance the operation and expand the opportunities for joint work of the two political organizations, added Morales Ojeda.
