Cuban Premier, Manuel Marrero Cruz, inaugurated this Thursday the lodging facilities of Playa Los Bajos camping site, belonging to Campismo Popular Company, which recently set up in the municipality of Gibara, Holguín province.
The also deputy to the National Assembly of the People’s Power (Parliament) for this municipality commented that the project arose thanks to the objective of exploiting the northern coast of the province taking into account its excellent coasts, at the time he described the lodging facilities as luxurious due to their top quality.
Marrero Cruz learned from Carlos Toledo Armas, director of Campismo Popular Company in Holguín, that the area has 26 two-story cabins and 40 tents, which have quality equipment to increase the comfort of the guests, and among the priorities of the personnel are the good treatment and to fulfill the demands in the services.
Among the suggestions made to the new camping base, the Prime Minister raised the need to improve the outdoor areas and the beach as a way of greater contact with nature and to stabilize maritime transportation between Gibara and the territory to facilitate access to the facility.
