Linemen will Support the Stability of Electrical Service in Havana

A group of 30 linemen from various municipalities in the province of Holguin departed this Friday for the Cuban capital. To relieve the brigades of the Lidio Ramón Pérez Contingent, personnel who have been working since last July on the recovery of Havana’s electrical grid.

The team, comprised of specialists from the Holguin Electric Company, will address the complex outages affecting the capital’s infrastructure. Through extended workdays to mitigate the impact on the power supply.
Furthermore these tasks will demand long hours and absolute dedication in the face of current limitations. Due to the tightening of the United States’ economic and financial blockade against Cuba.

This operational replacement allows for the continuity of technical work in Havana. While the provincial entity coordinates logistical actions and ensures the safe transport of the new support personnel.
