US Blocks Shipments of Food and Medicine to Cuba

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX), Óscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga. Denounced this Wednesday before the National Assembly of People’s Power. That there is currently an attempt to prevent the arrival in Cuba of more than seven thousand containers held in various Caribbean ports. Loaded with goods legally acquired by the country in accordance with international trade regulations.

Pérez-Oliva Fraga specified that these containers are transporting food, resources for the energy matrix transformation program. Supplies for the provision of drinking water. Which more than 3 million Cubans lack daily and vital medicines to save lives.
The deputy prime minister directly blamed those trying to prevent the arrival of this merchandise. Those who “remain impassive allowing this genocide to be committed.” And those who align themselves with the interests of the United States in this endeavor, for the potential loss of innocent lives.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to hold those who are trying to prevent the arrival of this merchandise.
