The 22nd CTC Congress Process Continues in Holguin

With the aim of strengthening the labor movement from the grassroots level and preparing for the final sessions of the congress. The process for the 22nd Congress of the Central Organization of Cuban Workers (CTC) continues in Holguin.

This was reported by Idalmis Serrano Gómez, general secretary of the CTC in the province. Who explained that the process began with strengthening at the grassroots level. Followed by conferences of the municipal committees and the provincial conference.

Also the leader added that the people of Holguin have additional motivations. Such as the centennial of the historical leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro. Therefore, volunteer work days and blood donations continue. An essential altruistic contribution to saving lives. Days of action have been held for each sector.

Furthermore, efforts are underway to improve performance indicators to ensure positive results in the final sessions. Also to maintain this momentum leading up to the congress.

The motto that guides the event, “Together We Create for Cuba,” continues to rally the members of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR). Who played a leading role in the recent “Cuba Solutions” event, held in communities with the participation of the people through organizations. Such as the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), and the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP).

Moreover the final sessions of the congress will be the stage where the results of this phase of grassroots work are reflected. With a focus on strengthening unity and collective contributions from each sector.
