Throughout 2025, Holguin’s cultural scene remained vibrant. Making the province stand out nationally. Thanks to dedicated cultural institutions and projects.
In the first days of 2026, a variety of cultural offerings. Especially for children, were presented. Among them was the presentation of the Abrakdabra project at the Alex Urquiola Provincial Library. Which provided a space for games, magic tricks, and other activities designed for young children.
Additionally, companies such as Ronda de los Sueños, directed by Grisel Velázquez. Also the Holguin Puppet Theater, directed by Anika Sánchez, and the Palabras al Viento (Words to the Wind) storytelling company. Offered songs, stories, and games in each space designed for families.
Singer-songwriter Edelys Loyola gave a concert for children and families at the Casa de la Trova. Where she performed several favorite songs from her repertoire. Along with fellow singer-songwriter Edelis Cabreja.
With these activities, the cultural sector in Holguin indicates that this will be another year with a wide range of cultural offerings. Always under the main premise of bringing art closer to Holguin families.
