CDRs Reaffirm Solidarity with Venezuela

The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) expressed their support and solidarity with the Bolivarian Nation of Venezuela this Sunday. In the face of recent aggression by the United States government.

In a statement, the National Secretariat of the CDRs reiterated the historic brotherhood that unites both peoples. Based on common struggle, resistance, and commitment to justice, sovereignty, and popular dignity.

In this way, they categorically condemn the policy of criminalization and coercion promoted by the US government. Which violates the sovereignty and dignity of the Venezuelan people.

They also recognize Venezuela’s strength in defending its social achievements and its right to self-determination in the face of external threats and destabilizing maneuvers.

In these complex times, the CDRs remain firm in their position of supporting the Venezuelan people on their path toward peace, development, and prosperity. Also emphasize that no force can break the will of the people fighting for their liberation.

They also recognize the island’s indissoluble union with Venezuela and its heroic people. Reaffirming that Venezuela’s struggle is also the struggle of the CDRs and Cuba.
