Moura coach will direct Volleyball Cuba (F) team

The Cuban Volleyball Federation (FCV) announced this Friday that, after analyzing the details of the proposal, it was decided that the prestigious Brazilian coach Luizomar Moura assumes the direction of the National Women’s Team.

The federation statement informs that its appointment has been managed under the empowerment project of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Which in addition to covering its fees, will finance presence in fire events, the acquisition of implements and actions to improve infrastructure in our National School.

The contract, recently signed between the FCV and the IVFB, has been conceived for a period of four years. In adjustment to an international practice, which has had expressions in countries such as Japan, Türkiye, France, Italy, Argentina, and which in this case will be taxed – in addition – to the formation of Cuban coachs.

It points out the information that its approval was built together with the authorities of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER). The Cuban Olympic Committee and the National Volleyball Commission.

In attachment to the will to accelerate the beginning of his work, Moura will join the Cuban team in Colima, Mexico. Headquarters of the North American Pan American Cup of Women’s Volleyball, from August 3rd to 10th.

The FCV reiterates its intention to continue evaluating formulas “that tribute to the development of our sport”, and thanks the IVFB, for its contribution, and Professor Moura for the demonstrated disposition and optimism.
