Several collectives in the cultural sector in Holguin have achieved National Vanguard status. With their enduring commitment to art, the people, and the Revolution.
This was demonstrated at the Bariay Club in this province. Where the Artex branches, the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (FCBC). The Egrem (National Union of Cultural Workers), and the Provincial Unit for the Assurance and Support of Culture (UPAAC) received National Vanguard Status.
At the same time, the UEB Propaganda y Eventos (Propaganda and Events Union) received special recognition for helping its national company obtain the highest incentive granted by the Cuban Workers’ Union to entities and organizations.
At the event, which was attended by the highest authorities in the region. Félix Raúl Martínez Pérez, secretary of the Provincial Union of Cultural Workers. Highlighted the unique features and achievements of each center. Which together make Holguin a strong cultural center.
“For four consecutive years, Artex Holguin has proven to be a beacon in the promotion of art and popular culture. Its work in marketing artisanal products, supporting local artists. And disseminating our traditions has enriched the province’s heritage,” he emphasized.
Regarding the FCBC, he said it is celebrating eight consecutive years as a National Vanguard, “eight years of resilience and ensuring that each project reaches its audience with quality”.
Regarding the Egrem (National Association of Workers) and the UPAAC (National Association of Workers). He highlighted its work supporting musical talents, and the UPAAC (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)
