Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said that the tightening of U.S. immigration policy is a lucrative move. As well as a violation of human rights.
“The migration problem in the United States has become a new business of the U.S. government.”Said the head of Cuban diplomacy through a message on the social network X.
“While they expel illegal migrants, violating the most elementary human rights. They sell permanent residence in that country for five million dollars,” he said.
As he commented, the United States “is the country of differences, privilege and plutocracy.”
Rodríguez maintains a critical position towards the immigration policies applied by the U.S. administrations. Particularly the measures adopted by Donald Trump that, in his opinion, affect citizens of underdeveloped countries and also nations allied with Washington.
