The prevalence of empty speeches and rhetoric that have annulled the meaning of words. And how the use of poetry can save it was discussed at the International Book Fair (FIL in the Spanish acronym) in Holguin. As part of the celebrations for the World Day of that literary genre.

That is why poetry will not die, it is more alive than ever because it makes language the ideal tool to transmit the feeling of everyone who reads it. It does not need to be truthful, nor structurally perfect, but the authentic power to connect with the masses.
