With guests from Chile, Colombia and the United States, among other international representatives, the celebration dedicated to the 30th Edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival begins today in Holguin.
The management of the Casa de Iberoamérica informed through its social networks that the event, readjusted due to the contingency of the National Electric Power System and the passage of Hurricane Oscar, will be held until October 30, maintaining several of the fundamental actions and spaces with a diverse program of panels, conferences and cultural sites.
They also announced that the event is presented as a meeting of resistance and defense of the best customs and traditions of the peoples of Ibero-America, with foreign participants who will be inserted in the proposals of the festival, reaffirming its multicultural character.
As part of the activities, the Meeting of Paper Artists is already in session at the Cuadernos Papiro Publishing House, with the presence of Fernando Bacallao and Colombian artists Maria Elena Hurtado and Ingrid Cuellar, among other guest creators, and whose closing will be the inauguration of a collective mural at the Provincial Art Center.
The event Cities and the Sea, organized by the Holguin branch of the National Union of Architects and Construction Engineers of Cuba, will be held at the Villa Blanca de Gibara.
The Ibero-American Culture Festival will be held in 2025, in the city of Holguin, to promote the link between Cuba and the countries of the region, summoning specialists, intellectuals and national and foreign artists interested in fraternizing through cultural exchange.
